TTS celebrates 40 years of supercharging performance!
When it comes to building insanely fast motorcycles, TTS Performance certainly know their stuff. Having started the company back in 1982, founder, Richard Albans, has built some of the fastest and most exciting bikes in the UK. He supercharged his first bike in 1976 and hasn’t looked back since.
Now a world leader in motorcycle supercharging, TTS wanted to celebrate their 40th year in fitting style, so a local biker cafe would be the perfect venue for this down-to-earth company.
“Years ago I tuned a Kawasaki for Super Sausage owner, Chris,” says Richard, “so it made sense to host the bash here.” Even better, Chris still owns the bike. and brought it along to show off.
From the kick off at 9am there was a steady stream of bikers entering the car park. By 10am, it was starting to fill up as more and more enthusiasts arrived. We were joined by Ben from Rotrex, who had travelled all the way from Denmark to be with us.
The standard and range of motorcycles really was something to behold. From the latest sports bikes, including Ducatis, Hayabusas and R6s, to immaculately finished cafe racers, retro bikes, Harleys and tourers; there really was something for everyone.
TTS bikes on display included a recently completed 280bhp Harley-Davidson FXDR, plus a 220bhp Fireblade, showing just how diverse the TTS supercharger range is.
With such a nice, relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect opportunity to grab a brew, an award-winning bacon roll, and take a stroll around the car park to check out the bikes.
Of course, the highlight of the day was the official unveiling of TTS’s brand new superbike, the SuperBusa. Based on the already potent Gen 3 Hayabusa, this limited-edition, supercharged model, pumps out an eye-watering 370bhp and 190 lb/ft.
With a raft of custom additions, including carbon wheels, upgraded brakes and a bespoke range of paint schemes, it’s already making waves all over the world. Head to the TTS YouTube channel to watch the official unveiling and to see a full video of the day.
If you love great food and want to see a wide range of bikes every week, then make sure you pay a visit to the Super Sausage, A5 Watling St, Northants.
